This is a fun opportunity to socialize\, refuel and check out the store if you haven’t been in. \n  \nAs always\, we’ll have our community run at 6:00 p.m. from the store\, including a dynamic warm up and 3 or 5 mile routes. Our Brooks Guru\, Carlee will be here with a bunch of the Calderas to demo. The Caldera provides great traction\, high cushion\, a double mesh upper for protection and a seamless feel\, gaiter tabs\, and a protective midsole that provides stability over rocks and roots. \nWe’ll meet at the Blanton Ridge Trailhead at 9:00 a.m. and get going shortly after. You’ll have options to run ~4 (to 52nd & WIlliamette and back) or 8 miles (to Spencer Butte and back). For those who want to\, we’ll head to Friendly Street Market (2757 Friendly St) afterward for coffee and food. \nIf you want to want to catch all the Brooks fun that day\, Carlee will be at Run Hub from 12:00-2:00 p.m. to do the Run Signature gait analysis for customers. DESCRIPTION:Join Girls on the Run Willamette Valley at Run Hub for an informational night. Girls on the Run is a non-profit after-school program for girls in grades 3-8 that combines health education and running. Ten-week sessions are offered every spring and fall. At the end of the program\, girls participate in a 5K. \nLearn more about the organization’s upcoming spring 2020 season\, how to become a coach and how to get involved in other ways. The relay will span a week starting Nov. 8 and participants will be broken up into teams with each team member running a 5K on a different day. Enjoy race promotions\, raffle prizes and encouragement from running friends! \n\n\n\nWe’ll have our regularly scheduled community run start at 6 PM. Come early or stay after to meet with race directors! \n\n\n\nElevated Trail Racing will be offering 15% off all races if you sign up during the event.  \n\n\n\nOregon Trail Runs is offering 15% off races if you sign up before March 1\, and will also be raffling off entries for its Spring Fling Trail Run and Marys Peak Trail Run. \n\n\n\nLevel 32 Racing will be raffling off two entries for its Lucky Clover 10K/5K and one entry for the Shotgun Trail Blast 5K or 10K. \n\n\n\nSpringfield Twin Rivers Rotary will be raffling off two entries to its prom-themed 5K race on April 16.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the March Mile Madness challenge presented by Run Hub and Hoka!We invite you to run a series of mile segments in Eugene/Springfield on your own between March 5-11. The fastest people to run each segment will advance to the Elite 8 Championship\, for a chance to run a fifth segment in person on March 19.Disclaimer: For Run Hub to track your segment time\, we will be using the Strava segment user board. Your activity will only show up on Strava user boards if your account is public at the time of your run.MORE INFO: \n\n\n\n\nThere are four Strava mile segments in four regions of Eugene/Springfield. You may compete on any or all of the segments! For each segment you run\, post a screenshot of your activity on social media\, tag @runhubnw and @hokaoneone\, and you’ll receive a raffle ticket into our drawing for a free pair of the all new Hoka Rocket X 2. \n\n\n\nOn March 19\, the fastest people (two male and two female) to run each segment will advance to the Elite 8 challenge for a chance to run a fifth segment (to be announced) and compete to win the March Mile Championship. The champions will each win their own pair of Rocket X 2! \n\n\n\n\nThe Segments: \n\n\n\n\nNorth: Begins at the intersection of Willagillespie Road and Cal Young Road and travels east on Cal Young toward Oakway Road. \n\n\n\nSouth: Begins on the Rexius Trail at the intersection of E Amazon Drive and Dillard Road and travels north to Hilyard Street. \n\n\n\nEast: Begins at the Booth-Kelly Trailhead in Springfield and travels east on the Mill Race Path toward South 28th Street. \n\n\n\nWest: Begins on the Fern Ridge Path at the intersection of Greenhill Road and Royal Avenue and travels southeast through the Meadowlark Prairie.
