This RunVenture includes five separate challenges\, and each of them must be done and posted to your social media on a specific day except one. You can complete one challenge or all five\, just be sure to post your challenges on your Instagram or Facebook page and add the tags @runhubnw and @altrarunning to your post. \nYou’ll get raffle tickets for each challenge you complete and then there will be a prize drawing at the end and a chance to win a pair of Altra shoes and prizes from other local businesses! \n\n\nHere are the challenges! \n\n\n\nThis challenge can be done any day of the week: Stop by Run Hub to check out a pair of Altra demo shoes. Take them with you to try out on a run and post a photo of you in your Altras\, then return them by the end of the week.\nThis challenge must be done on Monday: Post a picture of the spookiest/funniest/most impressive Halloween decoration you see on your run.\nThis challenge must be done on Wednesday: Run to Pioneer Cemetery and share a photo or screenshot documenting your activity. Receive a bonus raffle ticket if you catch the ghost runner in the cemetery between 6-7am or 6-7pm and take a socially distanced photo with them.\nThis challenge must be done on Friday: Friday is for recovering and having fun! Show us how you recover from your runs during the Halloween season. Think favorite pumpkin-flavored drink\, themed snack or scary movie.\nThis challenge must be done on Saturday: Dress in costume and run this spooky route. Take a selfie in front of each of the following businesses along the route. Post a screenshot of your activity and your selfies and tag each business in the pictures. We’ll end the run at 3 p.m. at Gratitude Brewing\, where we’ll raffle off prizes from our vendors and participating businesses. \nWe’ll also have a costume contest with prizes for the three best-dressed participants! \nAs your entry into the RunVenture\, we ask that you bring a monetary donation in the form of cash or check for St. Vincent de Paul’s Season of Joy program. This campaign is raising funds to provide totes filled with essentials\, such as household cleaning supplies and personal-care products\, to seniors living at St. Vincent de Paul affordable-housing properties this holiday season. \nIf you’re unable to make it to the RunVenture but still want to donate\, please bring your donation to the shop by 5 p.m. on Sunday\, Dec. 8. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our St. Paddy’s Day RunVenture! A leprechaun has hidden five pots of golden coins in south Eugene. For this running scavenger hunt\, you’ll solve a series of limericks to discover where the gold is hidden! \n\n\n\nThe event\, which you can run or walk and which will be up to 5 miles (you can choose to do less)\, will start at the South Eugene High School Track. The run will begin at 2 PM\, but come as early as 1:30 PM to demo products from our sponsors and earn extra raffle tickets for the post-RunVenture raffle!The run will end at The Pint Pot\, where we’ll host our prize raffle and award prizes for best costumes! \n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n1:30 PM: Gather at South Eugene High School track to check out a pair of Adidas running shoes to wear during the RunVenture\, as well as try on Goodr sunglasses and sample PROBAR Bolt chews. You’ll get extra raffle tickets for trying products from our vendors!2 PM: Run begins!
