SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run - Hendricks to Moon
DESCRIPTION:Meet at Hendrick’s Park parking lot (corner of Floral Hill Dr. & Fairmount Blvd) at 8am on Sun\, Oct. 27 for a 6.5-mile no-drop trail run. We’ll talk about the route\, take a group photo and get going around 8:10am. \nThis is a backyard destination trail run from Hendricks Park to Moon Mountain\, with 1\,050′ elevation gain and warm fall vibes. You’ll climb Ribbon Trail and dash over to Black Oak Basin. Then you’ll head up\, down and around to Coryell Ridge\, and get a fall morning view of Moon before looping back\, down and around to Hendricks. After the run\, we’ll head to Hideaway Bakery (3377 E Amazon Dr) for food and drink.  \nOur new trail run leader\, James Wellington will be leading this month’s trail run. Welcome\, James! \nA no-drop run means we’ll be stopping as a group a few times along the way for everyone to regroup.
