DESCRIPTION:Join COROS and Run Hub on July 1 at 5:30pm to celebrate community during Pre Classic week! World Championship bronze medalist and COROS athlete Andreas Almgren will join us for the event. \nAndreas is Sweden’s premier distance runner and one of the fastest non-African athletes in history. In recent years\, he’s rewritten both the Swedish and European record books\, becoming the first European ever to break 27 minutes for the 10K on the road\, and the first European to run a half marathon under 59 minutes. \n\nAndreas will be on hand for a meet and greet and autographs.\n\n\nCheck out COROS watches and heart rate monitors at our community run & walk on Wed\, July 1! Come to the shop from 5:30-6pm to see the COROS Pace 4\, Pace Pro\, HR monitor and more. Demos of the heart rate monitor will be available for the run. \nOur community run/walk starts at 6 pm. SUMMARY:McKenzie River Run & Raft
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun day on the McKenzie River! Meet at Run Hub at 8am on Sun\, July 26 to carpool to Paradise Campground (57489 McKenzie Hwy\, Blue River) or meet at Paradise Campground parking lot around 9am.  \n\n\n\nOur friends at Horse Creek Lodge will provide the shuttle and guide the raft trip. \n\n\n\nThe shuttle will transport you upriver from Paradise Campground to do a point-to-point run with 5\, 9\, and 15-mile drop off options. The shuttle is $15 for gas and staffing of the drivers. All paces are welcome to run or hike the trail. Please bring your own water and fuel for the day. It will be warm on the trail and there isn’t access to drinking water on the run. \n\n\n\nAfter lunch (not provided)\, those who signed up for rafting will suit up in optional booties and wet suits and get going about 1:30 p.m. The raft trip is about 3 hours of floating on the river and includes snacks and a shuttle back to Paradise Campground for $70. \n\n\n\nSign-up is required.
