DESCRIPTION:Destination Trail Runs are back!\n\n\nWith our first trail run back we have a special treat for you. On will be there to demo trail shoes to anyone who would like to try a pair on their run. On has some pretty sweet trail shoes with the Cloudventure\, Cloudventure Peak\, and Cloudultra. Want waterproof shoes? On has got you covered with their Cloudventure waterproof trail shoe.\n\nLastly\, the route we will be running is the same route that the Storm The Castle Half Marathon will be on! This is a brand new race on November 27th\, 2021. If you fall in love with the trail\, which I know you will then check this race out in November. For more info of the race please visit https://elevatedtrailracing.com/.\n\nDetails for the group trail run below:\n8:00 AM: Meet at Run Hub to drive to location. Please bring masks. We will all be wearing masks when not being six feet a part from one another.\n\n9:00 AM: Arrive at the Kings castle trailhead. Address: 54754 King Rd E\, Blue River\, OR 97413.\nWe will run up on the Kings Castle trail. Once we get to a T section in the trail we will take a right on the Castle Rock Trail. This will take us all of the way to the summit where you will have gorgeous 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains including the sisters mountains. The entire run will be about 11.5 miles and will have around 2\,800 feet of vert.\n\nRunners are welcome to do a shorter run and turnaround at the gravel road crossing. This would be around a 10k out and back run.\n\n12:00 PM: If anyone is interested and comfortable we will meet at Takodas to eat and drink.\n\nI look forward to running with you all again! Come out and try on a pair of Ons\, enjoy a beautiful trail\, and stay for lunch at Takodas for a pint and delicious food!

Run on the McKenzie River Trail and then choose whether to stay for lunch and a guided rafting trip on the river. NOTE: You must sign up ahead of time for the raft trip.THE TRAIL RUNWe’ll meet at Run Hub at 8 a.m. and leave by 8:15 a.m. to head to the Paradise campground boat launch\, arriving by about 9:30 a.m. There will be people choosing just to run or run and raft\, so we can determine carpools prior to leaving Run Hub.THE SHUTTLEOur friends at Horse Creek Lodge offer a shuttle service to transport us upriver from Paradise so we can do a point-to-point run with options of 6 or 12 miles. Shuttling is $5 to cover staffing and gas for shuttles. SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: Dead Mountain Oakridge Triple Summit Preview Run
DESCRIPTION:On September 24-26\, the Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge will take place\, so we will not be doing a destination trail run at the end of September. Instead we are going to do one a couple of weeks earlier on Sunday\, September 12. We will meet at 8 AM at Run Hub to carpool to the Dead Mountain trailhead. We will leave Run Hub around 8:15 and should arrive at the trailhead around 9 AM. This is an up and down mountain course\, so if you want to summit it will be just over an 11-mile roundtrip. If you want to run less you can turn around at anytime\, but I promise the views are worth the summit! After the run we will head to 3 Legged Crane Pub and Brewhouse (formerly known as Brewers Union Local 180) for a beer and lunch. All levels and abilities are invited! SUMMARY:Altra Demo & Relay
DESCRIPTION:Come to our community run on Wednesday\, Sept. 15\, at 6pm to demo the Altra Torin 5 and Olympus 4 as we take a few laps up and around Skinner Butte. Don’t worry\, we’ll split you up into teams\, so it won’t be all up to you to summit the butte four times! We’ll have some fun prizes and this is sure to be a good time. Masks are required before and after the run.

DESCRIPTION:Try out the ultralight cushion and speed of the new Hoka Rincon 3 at our community run from Campbell Park! After the run\, we’ll have caramel apples and fall-themed beverages. Hoka will also raffle off some fun Rincon themed backpacks! Run routes are 3 and 5.5 miles. All paces are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Give back to our local community by picking up trash while you get some exercise and demo Brooks shoes!We will meet at Run Hub at 9AM\, where you can check out a pair of the new Brooks Levitate 5 to demo. We’ll also distribute gloves and trash bags. Then we’ll set out along the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path to clean up litter. We’ll reconvene at Run Hub at 10 AM\, where we’ll enjoy coffee and treats and raffle off some prizes!
