The run will start at 2 p.m. and you’ll have one hour to make it to as many stops as you can. The route will be 3-4 miles. We’ll end the run at 3 p.m. at Oakshire Public House\, where we’ll raffle off prizes from our vendors and participating businesses.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll also have a costume contest with prizes for the best dressed in these categories! 1) Best group/duo costume 2) Best costume inspired by a movie 2) Most festive  \n\n\n\nRun Hub is sponsoring two families through St. Vincent de Paul’s Holiday Joy program. For your entry into the RunVenture we ask that you donate one or more gifts requested by the families. SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: McKenzie River Trail
DESCRIPTION:For our December Destination Trail Run\, we’ll stick with tradition and head to the McKenzie River Trail! \n\n\n\nMeet at Run Hub at 8 AM and we’ll leave at 8:15AM to carpool to Belknap Hot Springs\, or meet us there around 9:30 AM. Horse Creek Lodge will shuttle us ($5 per person) to starting locations on the trail for point-to-point runs ending back at Belknap Hot Springs. There will be mile options ranging 5-12 miles.  \n\n\n\nAll paces are welcome\, including running and walking! If the trail is snowy\, we plan to snowshoe instead. Snowshoe rentals can be found at Berg’s in Eugene. \n\n\n\nAfter the run/hike\, we’ll go to Belknap Hot Springs for an hour soak. The cost is $8/person. Please bring a swimsuit and towel\, as well as a change of clothes\, food and water for after the run. \n\n\n\nSign up for the run shuttle here.

In this session you’ll learn what you can do on a daily and weekly basis to avoid injury\, burnout and have your best training cycle ever. In this class\, Dr Jenn Randall\, DPT\, OCS\, CMPT\, USATF-1 (and 2022 USATF Outdoor T&F Championship Participant!) and Dr Jesse Klein\, DPT\, OCS\, CSCS\, BRM (and consistently uninjured\, above average runner) will take you through the most common things they see with runners that derail training plans and leave people disappointed\, injured\, and unable to make it to race day.
