DESCRIPTION:We’ll be staying more local for our December destination trail Run. Shotgun creek is a fun 5-mile looped trail near Marcola. It is very forested and has some nice little creeks. This time of year the trail could be a little wet\, so plan accordingly! After the run we’ll head over to Marcola Roadhouse for some food and drinks. \n\n\n\nThis event is free.  \n\n\n\nDetails: \n\n\n\nSaturday\, Dec 30: 9:00 AM-9:15 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpool to Shotgun Creek trail.10:00 AM: Meet at the trail. We will get a group photo\, talk about the trail and then be on our way!12:00 PM: Meet at Marcola Roadhouse for food and drinks. \n\n\n\nAddress to Shotgun Creek Recreation Area: From the south (Eugene/Springfield): Take Marcola Road north 12.8 miles from the intersection of Marcola and Camp Creek Roads. Turn left onto Shotgun Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to the Shotgun Creek Campground. Turn right into the campground\, and the staging area will on the left in .1 mile. \n\n\n\nMarcola Roadhouse address: 92178 Marcola Rd\, Marcola\, OR 97454 \n\n\n\nEach loop is 5 miles. We will most likely have people that want to do one and two loops\, and possibly even three loops! \n\n\n\nAll levels are welcome!

DESCRIPTION:For this month’s destination trail run we’ll be heading to one of our favorite places: beautiful Oakridge\, home of over 500 miles of trails. We’ll be going on a trail we haven’t done before as a Destination Trail Run: Larison Creek. This is a beautiful trail that hugs the Hills Creek Reservoir. It is an out and back trail that totals to exactly a 20k if you do the entire route. It’s a relatively flat trail with a pretty steep climb at the end. After the run we’ll meet at Three Legged Crane or The Campfire for some good food and drink.If you have never been on this trail before\, this is a must do! The lush forest and easy rolling hills will make the miles fly by.Do you have a fear of getting lost on a trail? No fear here! This is the only trail in the area. There are no connecting trails. Just simply run\, and turn back whenever you like. Most importantly\, enjoy the trail!Details:9:00 AM-9:15 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpool to the trail.10:15-10:30 AM: Meet at the Larison Creek Trailhead. SUMMARY:Brice Creek Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:This month we will be going south to Cottage Grove to explore Brice Creek Trail on Sun\, March 24! \n\n\n\nWe’ll meet at Run Hub at 9am and carpool to Brice Creek Trailhead/Cedar Creek Campground. Or meet at Brice Creek around 10-10:15am. Try on the new On Cloudsurfer Trail shoe and we’ll head out for a run/hike. Brice Creek is a local favorite and just an hour from Eugene. It has a little of everything. Single track trails\, that have great views of Brice Creek\, steep punchy climbs and downhills\, rocks\, roots\, twists and turns\, and even a gorgeous waterfall! The trail is 5.5 miles long one way\, so if you did an out and back you would get 11 miles in. You could add another two to three miles (highly recommend) to see the falls for at least 13 miles. You could also cut off a mile or so and see the falls for a 12-mile run. Just a note that there is little to no cell service when you get near Brice Creek\, so you may want to screenshot directions.  \n\n\n\nDirections: \n\n\n\nFrom Cottage Grove\, OR\, travel east on Row River Road 2400 for 19 miles to Forest Road 2470. Turn right on County Road 2470 and continue for 4 miles along Brice Creek to Cedar Creek Campground\, located on the left side of the road. \n\n\n\nSchedule:9:00 – 9:15 AM: Meet at Run Hub to carpool to Brice Creek Trailhead.10:00 AM: Meet at Cedar Creek Campground. Try on the On CloudSurfer Trail shoes! Take a group photo and head to the trail.10:20 AM: Run and explore! Pisgah at 9am on Sunday\, April 21 to run/hike 5 or 10 miles with others. Our Brooks Guru Campbell will be at the run for you to test out the Brooks Cascadia 17 trail shoe. After the run\, we’ll head to Hideaway Bakery for coffee and pastries.
