DESCRIPTION:Our Community Run on Wednesday\, November 15 will be a two-for-one in that you’ll have the chance to try two different types of awesome products in one night! Plus\, you’ll get a run in\, too! \nCome to the store at 5:45 p.m. to get fitted for Gore-tex shoes and then we’ll do a short\, but awesome pre-run Trigger Point rollout. He’ll show us a few simple running related rolls for the IT band\, calves and adductor on the TP Grid 1.0 as well as a few rolls for the piriformis and upper back on the MB5 and Grid Vibe. This short rolling session will give you some preventative tools to keep you running strong. \nFor the Community Run\, Gore-tex will bring the Brooks Ghosts and Cascadias\, the Saucony Rides and the New Balance 880s\, all in Gore-tex to keep your feet dry when it’s wet out! We will have 3 and 5 mile river path routes mapped out. Please bring your lights and reflective gear. All paces are welcome.

SUMMARY:North Umpqua Trail Destination Run
DESCRIPTION:For our monthly destination trail run we will be heading south toward Roseburg\, to a small town called Glide. Home to the North Umpqua Trail system. With a 79 mile point to point trail\, we will be doing the flattest part of the trail called the Tioga Segment. All levels of runners are welcome and we will have routes that should fit every runner’s need\, with a 5\, 10\, or 15 mile option. Some of the highlights of the trail will be Deadline Falls\, Fern Creek Falls and Bob Butte. \n  \nAfter burning calories in the forest\, come replenish your body by grabbing a bite to eat at O’tooles Pub in Roseburg\, OR. \n  \nWe will be meeting at Run Hub at 8:00 a.m. to carpool to the trail. It is about an hour and 50 minute drive. After the run everyone is welcome to grab some food and drink at O’tooles Pub on the way back home. Please bring water and fuel for yourself for the run\, as well as a change of clothes for afterward. And if you are planning to carpool\, it’s always nice to bring a few $ for gas for the driver. \n  \nCome join us for some great running\, food\, drink and friends. DESCRIPTION:This month we will be going to the lush looped Shotgun Creek Trail in Marcola\, Oregon on Saturday\, March 31. This is a trail runners paradise as it is only a 30 minute drive from Eugene\, and most days you can have the trail all to yourself to get your trail running zen on. It is also a 5 mile looped trail\, so for those who do not like seeing the same things twice this is a perfect run to get 5 miles in. If you want to get a longer run in you can always tag on another loop\, or even a third loop! \nThis trail is also the host of the Shotgun Trail Blast directed by the local Level 32 Racing company happening on April 7th. The race has a 5k\, 10k\, 25k\, and even a 50k option to meet any type of runners needs. For more information go to http://level32racing.com/Shotgun_Trail_Blast.html. If you are planning on competing in the race this could be a great preview run for you. \nAfter the run you are welcome to join us at the Marcola Roadhouse for some serious calorie refueling. Turn left onto Shotgun Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to the Shotgun Creek Campground. Turn right into the campground. \nThis is a free event\, and all running capabilities are welcome! DESCRIPTION:Hello all of you fellow Trail Runners! We got a great treat for you brought to you by your local friendly running store: Mary’s Peak. This is the highest peak in the Oregon Coastal Range topping out at 4\,098 feet. After the run we will go to one of my all time favorite places\, Torreros Mexican Restaraunt to refill our stomachs. We will have long and short run options\, and will have course markings for runners. No one will be left behind! Interested? DESCRIPTION:Keep your feet warm and dry with Gore-Tex technology this winter. Come to the Community Run on Wednesday @ 6 p.m. to test out the Brooks Ghost or Cascadia GTX\, or the New Balance 880 GTX. You’ll test out the shoes with a 3 or 5-mile route along the Willamette River path. Please bring your lights and reflective gear so you can be seen on the river path. All paces are welcome! Afterward\, runners are invited to head over to Tap & Growler where you’ll get 10 percent off your tab.

SUMMARY:Holiday RunVenture
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Holiday-themed running scavenger hunt to other businesses in Eugene. For each location you check off on your RunVenture passport you get points and points get you raffle tickets. After the run we’ll raffle off prizes from some of the participating businesses. \nThe event starts at 1 p.m.\, at which time you can pick up your RunVenture passport and demo products from some of our vendors\, including Saucony\, GU and Defunkify. The run will start at 2 p.m.\, with the raffle taking place at 3 p.m. \nBe sure to dress up in your best Christmas costume! We will have awards for the best dressed in these categories:\n1. Tinsel. Not just for decoration.\n2. Buddy the Elf\, The Grinch and Ralphie Parker\, Oh My!\n3. You’re really sleigh-in’ the Christmas outfit game. \nIn addition\, Run Hub has been assigned two homeless families through St. Vincent de Paul’s Holiday Joy program. For your entry into the RunVenture we ask that you donate one or more gifts requested by the families. Please visit this link to sign up for a gift. Be sure to write your first and last name next to the item you have purchased so that we don’t duplicate items. Please include a gift receipt with your gift if possible\, and also please wrap your gifts and write the family’s ID number on a tag. SUMMARY:Monthly Destination Trail Run: McKenzie River Trail
DESCRIPTION:For December’s monthly Trail destination run we will keep with tradition and head to the McKenzie River Trail for the holidays! We will meet at Runhub at 9 AM to carpool to Belknap Hot Springs\, and then will get shuttled to two different spots up the trail for a 13\, 9\, or 5 mile option. The 5 miler will start at Deer Creak and head back to Belknap\, while the 9 and 13 miler will be dropped off at Trail Bridge. If you wish to do the 9 you simply will run back to Belknap. For those of you who want to get extra mileage in or more views you will run 2 miles east until you hit Blue Pool. If you have not seen this wonder it is definitely worth burning the extra calories. Afterwards come join us for a soak at Belknap. One hour costs $7\, and will be certain to warm your legs up after a brisk run on the trail. Shuttles will be $5 a piece. Cash only please. All levels welcome.
