SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: McKenzie River Trail
DESCRIPTION:SIGN UP FOR THE RUN SHUTTLE HERE. \n\n\n\nFor our November Destination Trail Run\, we’ll stick with tradition and head to the McKenzie River Trail! We typically do this run in December\, but are moving it up a month in the hopes of avoiding too much snow.  \n\n\n\nMeet at Run Hub at 8 AM and we’ll leave at 8:15AM to carpool to Belknap Hot Springs\, or meet us there around 9:30 AM. Horse Creek Lodge will shuttle us to starting locations on the trail for point-to-point runs ending back at Belknap Hot Springs. There will be mile options ranging 5-13 miles. You must sign up for the run shuttle ahead of time; the cost is $10.  \n\n\n\nAll paces are welcome\, including running and walking! \n\n\n\nAfter the run/hike\, we’ll go to Belknap Hot Springs for an hour soak. The cost is $10/person. Please bring a swimsuit and towel\, as well as a change of clothes\, food and water for after the run. \n\n\n\nSIGN UP FOR THE RUN SHUTTLE HERE.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun holiday-themed running scavenger hunt through Eugene and help give back to the community! \n\n\n\nMeet at the shop at 1 p.m. to demo New Balance running shoes and Hyperice massage tools and sample Honey Stinger nutrition. The run will start at 2 p.m. and you’ll have one hour to make it to as many stops as you can. The route will be 3-4 miles. We’ll end the run at 3 p.m. at Falling Sky Brewing\, where we’ll raffle off prizes from our vendors and participating businesses. \n\n\n\nWe’ll also have a costume contest with prizes for the three best-dressed participants! \n\n\n\nAs your entry into the RunVenture\, we ask that you bring a monetary donation in the form of cash or check for St. Vincent de Paul’s Season of Joy program. This campaign is raising funds to provide totes filled with essentials\, such as household cleaning supplies and personal-care products\, to seniors living at St. Vincent de Paul affordable-housing properties this holiday season. \n\n\n\nIf you’re unable to make it to the RunVenture but still want to donate\, please bring your donation to the shop by 5 p.m. on Sunday\, Dec. 17. DESCRIPTION:We’ll be staying more local for our December destination trail Run. Shotgun creek is a fun 5-mile looped trail near Marcola. It is very forested and has some nice little creeks. This time of year the trail could be a little wet\, so plan accordingly! After the run we’ll head over to Marcola Roadhouse for some food and drinks. \n\n\n\nThis event is free.  \n\n\n\nDetails: \n\n\n\nSaturday\, Dec 30: 9:00 AM-9:15 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpool to Shotgun Creek trail.10:00 AM: Meet at the trail. We will get a group photo\, talk about the trail and then be on our way!12:00 PM: Meet at Marcola Roadhouse for food and drinks. \n\n\n\nAddress to Shotgun Creek Recreation Area: From the south (Eugene/Springfield): Take Marcola Road north 12.8 miles from the intersection of Marcola and Camp Creek Roads. Turn left onto Shotgun Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to the Shotgun Creek Campground. Turn right into the campground\, and the staging area will on the left in .1 mile. \n\n\n\nMarcola Roadhouse address: 92178 Marcola Rd\, Marcola\, OR 97454 \n\n\n\nEach loop is 5 miles. We will most likely have people that want to do one and two loops\, and possibly even three loops! \n\n\n\nAll levels are welcome!

DESCRIPTION:For this month’s destination trail run we’ll be heading to one of our favorite places: beautiful Oakridge\, home of over 500 miles of trails. We’ll be going on a trail we haven’t done before as a Destination Trail Run: Larison Creek. This is a beautiful trail that hugs the Hills Creek Reservoir. It is an out and back trail that totals to exactly a 20k if you do the entire route. It’s a relatively flat trail with a pretty steep climb at the end. After the run we’ll meet at Three Legged Crane or The Campfire for some good food and drink.If you have never been on this trail before\, this is a must do! The lush forest and easy rolling hills will make the miles fly by.Do you have a fear of getting lost on a trail? No fear here! This is the only trail in the area. There are no connecting trails. Just simply run\, and turn back whenever you like. Most importantly\, enjoy the trail!Details:9:00 AM-9:15 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpool to the trail.10:15-10:30 AM: Meet at the Larison Creek Trailhead. DESCRIPTION:Supporting Run Hub Gear Grants for track and field student athletes \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCampbell Community Center\, 155 High St in Eugene \n\n\n\nLife’s batter with pancakes! \n\n\n\nJoin us on Saturday\, Feb 24\, for the 2024 Gear Grants Pancake Run\, a 5K race and pancake breakfast fundraiser for Run Hub Gear Grants!  \n\n\n\nThis timed event will start at 9 AM at the Campbell Community Center\, 155 High St in Eugene. The course will loop through Alton Baker Park before returning to the community center. Eclectic Edge Racing will be timing the event. Then join us inside the community center for a pancake breakfast.   \n\n\n\nYou can choose to do just the race\, just the breakfast\, or both! Pancakes will be served until 11 AM. The breakfast ticket includes a meal of pancakes\, sausages (veggie option)\, fruit\, and juice.  \n\n\n\nPlease sign up here if you’d like to volunteer as a course marshal or help with food preparation and cleanup. \n\n\n\nThanks to our sponsors\, all ticket proceeds will go to Run Hub Gear Grants\, which provides $200 grants to middle and high school track & field and cross country athletes in the Eugene area who need help purchasing shoes and other gear for their season. Since the program’s inception in fall 2022\, Run Hub has distributed nearly 90 Gear Grants. The Spring 2024 Gear Grants application will open February 15\, and grants will be issued to track and field athletes in March.  \n\n\n\nAsics will also be on-site showcasing the brand-new Gel-Nimbus 26!
