SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run - Wild Iris Ridge
DESCRIPTION:Join us for one or two laps at Wild Iris Ridge on Sunday\, June 29. We’ll meet at 8am at the trailhead at the corner of Bailey Hill Road and S Bertelsen Road. The parking lot is small\, so please carpool or park in the neighborhoods nearby and walk/run to the trailhead. The lollipop loop is about 3.5 miles long with ~600ft elevation. Feel free to do one or more loops. The trail has gravel\, dirt and grass sections with views of west Eugene. \n\n\n\nAfter the run\, we’ll head to Coffee Plant Roasters for food and drink. We’ll have several models\, including the Torin 8\, FWD Via and Experience Wild 2 to demo on our 3 and 5-mile routes. \n\n\n\nThe Torin 8 is a neutral\, bouncy trainer that’s great for everyday runs and walks. The FWD Via is a high cushioned trainer with a 4mm heel-to-toe drop. The Experience Wild 2 is a high cushioned\, lightweight trail shoe with a rocker feel and a 4mm heel-to-toe drop.  \n\n\n\nCome a little early to find your size and try on Altras before the run/walk. The USATF Outdoor National Championships are in town and to celebrate we’re demoing the Adidas EVO SL on a run/walk near the UO campus. Join us at 6pm and we’ll get you fitted into demo shoes.
