To celebrate the long sunny days we are putting on a three day preview run for the upcoming Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge race on September 7th-9th. For more info about the race scroll down. \n  \nWe will be meeting at Run Hub NW everyday to carpool to sunny Oakridge\, to run a new trail. Each day will have 5 mile\, 10 mile\, or even 15 plus mile options. You will even have the opportunity to run a flatter trail if you like. After an epic run in the forest\, join us at the local watering hole\, Brewers Union Local 180 for a pint and a burger (or veggie). This brewery has some amazing beers on cask\, as well as some mouth watering food. \n  \nMake this an epic weekend to remember\, by exploring trails with friends\, and capping it off with a cold one and some laughs. Continue for about 1.5 miles to the flatcreek trailhead on your right.\n7:00 PM: Food and Drink at Brewers Union. \nSaturday\, June 23 \n*This run will also be a Altra demo run! Come test out the Altra Superior\, Lone Peak or Timp while you hit the trails. \n8:00 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpool to Westfir.\n9:00 AM: Meet at Alpine/North Fork trailhead in Westfir.\nDirections: Coming from Eugene. Driving eastbound on highway 58\, approximately 4 miles before Oakridge you will take a left on Westfir road. Less then one mile down the road you will come to a T section. Take a left. Continue through Westfir\, then take a left over the red covered bridge. Park near trailhead. You will have your choice to run Alpine\, which is very hilly\, or Northfork trail\, which hugs the creek.\n12:00 PM: Food and drink at Brewers Union. \nSunday\, June 24\n8:00 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpopl to Oakridge.\n9:00 AM: Meet at Greenwaters Park\nDirections: From Eugene: Continue on Highway 58 past Oakridge. SUMMARY:Monthly Destination Trail Run: McKenzie River Trail
DESCRIPTION:For December’s monthly Trail destination run we will keep with tradition and head to the McKenzie River Trail for the holidays! We will meet at Runhub at 9 AM to carpool to Belknap Hot Springs\, and then will get shuttled to two different spots up the trail for a 13\, 9\, or 5 mile option. The 5 miler will start at Deer Creak and head back to Belknap\, while the 9 and 13 miler will be dropped off at Trail Bridge. If you wish to do the 9 you simply will run back to Belknap. For those of you who want to get extra mileage in or more views you will run 2 miles east until you hit Blue Pool. If you have not seen this wonder it is definitely worth burning the extra calories. Afterwards come join us for a soak at Belknap. One hour costs $7\, and will be certain to warm your legs up after a brisk run on the trail. Shuttles will be $5 a piece. Cash only please. All levels welcome. SUMMARY:Brooks Demo and Community Run
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Wednesday night community run and demo some Brooks shoes! Our rep will bring the Levitate 2 and the Adrenaline GTS 19. The Levitate is a neutral shoe with springy cushioning. The newly released Adrenaline has guide rails on the lateral and medial side of the foot to provide stability for over pronation. If you’re not sure whether you need a neutral or stability shoe our staff would be happy to do a quick gait analysis to help you pick the right shoe. \nAs always\, our community run will include 3 and 5-mile options. All paces and abilities are welcome! Please bring lights and reflective gear so you can be seen on the river path.

SUMMARY:Monthly Destination Trail Run: North Umpqua Trail
DESCRIPTION:For our monthly destination trail run we will be heading south toward Roseburg\, to a small town called Glide. Home to the North Umpqua Trail system. With a 79 mile point to point trail\, we will be doing the very start of the trail which is the Swiftwater trailhead. All level of runners are welcome and we will have a route option that should fit every runners need\, with a 5\, 10\, or 15 mile out and back option. Some of the highlights of the trail will be Deadline Falls\, Fern Creek Falls\, and Bob Butte. \nAfter burning calories in the forest\, come replenish your body by grabbing a bite to eat at O’tooles Pub in Roseburg. \nWe will be meeting at Run Hub at 8:00 AM to carpool to the trail. It is about an hour and 50 minute drive. After the run everyone is welcome to grab some food and drink at O’tooles Pub on the way back home. Please bring water and fuel for yourself on the run\, as well as a change of clothes for afterward. \nCome join us for some great running\, food\, drink and friends. All are welcome! \nHere is the BLM website for the North Umpqua Trail and the menu for O’Tooles Pub. When looking at the trail note that we will be parking at the first trailhead. It is in the Tioga segment but is called Swiftwater trailhead. Thanks! \n
