SUMMARY:McKenzie River Trail Destination Run
DESCRIPTION:Join local runner Trace Bee and others for our next destination trail run on the McKenzie River on Saturday\, January 7! We will meet at the store at 7:30 am and carpool out to the McKenzie together. We’ll have options to run 45-90 minutes (or possibly longer) on the trail. \nBring layers as you never know how the conditions out there may be. It might be snowing\, raining or just a little wet on the trail. Afterward\, we’ll take a dip in the Belknap Hot Springs. Don’t forget your swimsuit\, towel\, a change of clothes and some food & water! Are you looking for ways to inspire girls to be the best they can be? \n  \nRun Hub is hosting an info session for you to hear how Girls on the Run Willamette Valley is growing in Lane County and how you can help! Tuesday\, Jan. 24 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.\n \nGirls on the Run Willamette Valley is currently looking for coaches at 10 of our schools (Each team needs 2-3 coaches). The upcoming spring season runs March-early June.\n  \nIf you are a current coach\, we’d like to celebrate you! Bring a friend and we will give you an extra energy award. We’ll also talk about other ways to be involved – we have volunteer positions available on our local leadership team and in our coach support group as well as teams who need practice partners and 5K buddies. \n  \nLight refreshments and drinks will be served.

SUMMARY:Ridgeline Trail Group Run at Blanton
DESCRIPTION:We’re keeping it simple\, but scenic with January’s trail run. We’ll be starting from the Blanton Trailhead with options to turn around at the Willamette St Trailhead (3.6 miles round trip)\, the Spencer Butte Summit sign (before you head up\, ~6 miles round trip)\, or all the way up the butte if you’re really feeling adventurous and up for the climb (~8.5 miles round trip). Local runner Trace Bee will lead the group along with a Run Hub staffer. \n  \nAfterward\, we’ll head to Friendly St Market (2757 Friendly St) for coffee and breakfast. They have breakfast sandwiches\, pastries and grocery items. Bring a friend and have some fun! All paces welcome. \n  \nAs usual\, we’ll have the option to meet at the store at 7:30 am for those who want to carpool.
