DESCRIPTION:Wear your green and get in the St. Patty’s Day spirit with us on Saturday\, March 17! Thanks to Brooks Running\, Oakshire Brewing\, Sam Bond’s Brewing Co. and all of you\, we’re set to have a festive afternoon. \nThe St. Paddy’s Day Pub Run all starts at Run Hub @ 1:00 p.m. with Brooks demo shoes where we’ll head to Oakshire Public House for $1 select cans (or $1 off pints). At 2:00 pm\, we’ll head to Sam Bonds Brewing for $4 pints + Lucky $7 Gift Certificates (for all\, to be used on purchases after 3/17) and finally\, we’ll make our way back to Run Hub at 3:00 p.m. for prizes! The route will be 3 miles in total. All paces are welcome. \n*Those who purchase a pair of St. Patrick’s Day Brooks Launches on 3/17 (or before) will be entered in a special raffle. \nPlanning to run the Lucky Clover 5/10K at Dorris Ranch that evening? Do the pub run and then head to the race!

SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: Shotgun Creek Trail
DESCRIPTION:This month we will be going to the lush looped Shotgun Creek Trail in Marcola\, Oregon on Saturday\, March 31. This is a trail runners paradise as it is only a 30 minute drive from Eugene\, and most days you can have the trail all to yourself to get your trail running zen on. It is also a 5 mile looped trail\, so for those who do not like seeing the same things twice this is a perfect run to get 5 miles in. If you want to get a longer run in you can always tag on another loop\, or even a third loop! \nThis trail is also the host of the Shotgun Trail Blast directed by the local Level 32 Racing company happening on April 7th. The race has a 5k\, 10k\, 25k\, and even a 50k option to meet any type of runners needs. For more information go to http://level32racing.com/Shotgun_Trail_Blast.html. If you are planning on competing in the race this could be a great preview run for you. \nAfter the run you are welcome to join us at the Marcola Roadhouse for some serious calorie refueling. For more info go to their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MarcolaRoadhouse/. \nDirections from Eugene: We will be meeting at Run Hub NW at 8:00 am. We will carpool from there. From there you will hop on highway 126 and take the Marcola exit. Take Marcola Road north 12.8 miles from the intersection of Marcola and Camp Creek Roads. Turn left onto Shotgun Creek Road and go 1.5 miles to the Shotgun Creek Campground. Turn right into the campground. \nThis is a free event\, and all running capabilities are welcome! All you need is some running shoes and a mindset ready to be smothered by nature. Hope to see you there! \nIf you are planning on taking your four legged family member\, please bring a leash!
