SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: Alpine Trail
DESCRIPTION:We will be going to Westfir to run the world famous Alpine trail for the destination trail run this month! We will be doing part of the Westfir 30k-50k course. This is an out and back trail and no way to get lost. It is a good climb\, but the trail is so smooth and beautiful\, it will be worth the effort! \n\n\n\nThis trail is an out and back trail\, but there is a good turnaround section that would get you 6 miles\, 8 miles\, or 11 miles. The 8-mile turnaround has a nice lookout\, and if you did 11 miles you would turn around at Buckhead Shelter.After the run we will go to 3 Legged Crane for a pint and food. All abilities welcome. DESCRIPTION:Altra’s first low drop shoe with a complementing rocker shape\, the AltraFWD Experience is here! With a natural footshape\, a 4mm drop and a rocker shape geometry\, this shoe is a lot of fun to run in.  \n\n\n\nTry it out for yourself at our community run/walk on Wed\, Oct. 11 at 6pm. Come a little early to make sure you snag your size! Please bring your lights/reflective gear so you can see and be seen out there. As always\, we will also have a physical therapist at the shop from 5:30-6pm for free injury consults.  \n\n\n\nAfterward\, we’ll head to ColdFire Brewing for food and beverages.

DESCRIPTION:For our Destination Trail Run this month\, we are staying local and running my backyard trails: Thurston Hills! It is a great local trail that a lot of locals don’t know about. \n\n\n\nWe will meet at 9:00 AM at Run Hub. We will leave the store at 9:15 am to drive to the trail. It will only be a 15-minute drive\, so if you want to just meet us at the trailhead it will be 9:30 AM once we get there. I have fun 5-mile\, 8-mile\, and 12-mile run options for people. \n\n\n\nAfter the run we will meet at Public House in Springfield for drinks and food. \n\n\n\nAll levels welcome!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for this Halloween-themed running scavenger hunt to other local businesses in town! You’ll have one hour to make it to as many stops as you can. This event is free for participants and all ages\, paces and abilities are welcome! \n\n\n\nSchedule:1 PM Demos at the store2 PM Run begins3 PM Run finishes at Oakshire Public House \n\n\n\nThe run will be about ~3-4 miles total. \n\n\n\nMore details: \n\n\n\nMeet at the shop at 1 p.m. to demo the Brooks Ghost Max and Shokz bone conduction headphones (and get extra raffle tickets for the post-run raffle)! \n\n\n\nThe run will begin at 2 p.m. and you’ll have one hour to make it to as many stops as possible. The more stops you make it to\, the more raffle tickets you get! \n\n\n\nWe’ll end the run at 3 p.m. at Oakshire Public House\, where we’ll enjoy some drinks and raffle off prizes from our participating vendors and businesses! \n\n\n\nDon’t forget to wear your Halloween costume! We’ll award prizes for spookiest\, best duo/group and most creative.
