DESCRIPTION:Join us for our St. Paddy’s Day RunVenture! For this running scavenger hunt\, you’ll solve a series of limericks to locate five pots of golden coins stashed in south Eugene!The event\, which you can run or walk and which will be up to 4.5 miles\, will start at the South Eugene High School Track. The run will begin at 2 PM\, but come as early as 1 PM to demo HOKA shoes and sample SaltStick products to earn extra raffle tickets for the post-RunVenture raffle! The run will end at The Pint Pot\, where we’ll host our prize raffle and award prizes for best costumes!Schedule:1 PM: Gather at South Eugene High School track to sample SaltStick Electrolyte Fastchews and check out a pair of the new HOKA Mach 6 to wear during the RunVenture. You’ll get extra raffle tickets for trying products from our vendors!2 PM: Run begins! SUMMARY:Brice Creek Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:This month we will be going south to Cottage Grove to explore Brice Creek Trail on Sun\, March 24! \n\n\n\nWe’ll meet at Run Hub at 9am and carpool to Brice Creek Trailhead/Cedar Creek Campground. Or meet at Brice Creek around 10-10:15am. Try on the new On Cloudsurfer Trail shoe and we’ll head out for a run/hike. Brice Creek is a local favorite and just an hour from Eugene. It has a little of everything. Single track trails\, that have great views of Brice Creek\, steep punchy climbs and downhills\, rocks\, roots\, twists and turns\, and even a gorgeous waterfall! The trail is 5.5 miles long one way\, so if you did an out and back you would get 11 miles in. You could add another two to three miles (highly recommend) to see the falls for at least 13 miles. You could also cut off a mile or so and see the falls for a 12-mile run. Just a note that there is little to no cell service when you get near Brice Creek\, so you may want to screenshot directions.  \n\n\n\nDirections: \n\n\n\nFrom Cottage Grove\, OR\, travel east on Row River Road 2400 for 19 miles to Forest Road 2470. Turn right on County Road 2470 and continue for 4 miles along Brice Creek to Cedar Creek Campground\, located on the left side of the road. \n\n\n\nSchedule:9:00 – 9:15 AM: Meet at Run Hub to carpool to Brice Creek Trailhead.10:00 AM: Meet at Cedar Creek Campground. Try on the On CloudSurfer Trail shoes! Take a group photo and head to the trail.10:20 AM: Run and explore! It is an out and back trail so you can’t get lost!:) You can simply just turn around when you like\, but if you did everything including the falls you will have over 13 miles.After the run we will meet at Coast Fork Brewing in Cottage Grove to fill our stomachs up with good food and drink.Address: 106 S 6th St\, Cottage Grove\, OR 97424Hikers and runners welcome!
