DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun holiday-themed running scavenger hunt through Eugene and help give back to the community! Meet at the shop at 1 p.m. to demo Altra Running shoes and Feetures socks and to sample some Gu. The run will start at 2 p.m. and you’ll have one hour to make to as many stops as you can. The route will be 3-4 miles. We’ll end the run at WildCraft Cider Works\, where we’ll raffle off prizes from our vendors and participating businesses. We’ll also have a costume contest with prizes for the best dressed in these categories!\n1) Jingle All The Way\n2) Oh The Who-manity! (How the Grinch Stole Christmas)\n2) Most Festive \nRun Hub is sponsoring two families through St. Vincent de Paul’s Holiday Joy program. For your entry into the RunVenture we ask that you donate one or more gifts requested by the families. This RunVenture includes five separate challenges\, and each of them must be done and posted to your social media on a specific day except one. You can complete one challenge or all five\, just be sure to post your challenges on your Instagram or Facebook page and add the tags @runhubnw and @altrarunning to your post. \nYou’ll get raffle tickets for each challenge you complete and then there will be a prize drawing at the end and a chance to win a pair of Altra shoes and prizes from other local businesses! \n\n\nHere are the challenges! \n\n\n\nThis challenge can be done any day of the week: Stop by Run Hub to check out a pair of Altra demo shoes. Take them with you to try out on a run and post a photo of you in your Altras\, then return them by the end of the week.\nThis challenge must be done on Monday: Post a picture of the spookiest/funniest/most impressive Halloween decoration you see on your run.\nThis challenge must be done on Wednesday: Run to Pioneer Cemetery and share a photo or screenshot documenting your activity. Receive a bonus raffle ticket if you catch the ghost runner in the cemetery between 6-7am or 6-7pm and take a socially distanced photo with them.\nThis challenge must be done on Friday: Friday is for recovering and having fun! Show us how you recover from your runs during the Halloween season. Think favorite pumpkin-flavored drink\, themed snack or scary movie.\nThis challenge must be done on Saturday: Dress in costume and run this spooky route. Take a selfie in front of each of the following businesses along the route. Post a screenshot of your activity and your selfies and tag each business in the pictures. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our regularly scheduled community run/walk and demo the updated Altra Via Olympus 2! \n\n\n\nThe run will start at 6 PM at Run Hub\, 515 High Street. Come a little early to check out a pair of demo shoes\, then choose to run or walk 3 or 5 miles on the bike path. All paces and abilities are welcome! Please bring lights and/or reflective gear so you can be seen on the path.  \n\n\n\nAltra’s max-cushioned zero drop Via Olympus has been updated with a softer midsole foam. Also available to demo will be the AltraFWD Experience\, Altra’s first low drop shoe with a complementing rocker shape.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our regularly scheduled community run/walk and demo the brand new Altra Torin 8! \n\n\n\nThe updated Torin feels soft underfoot and has zero heel-to-toe drop and a wide toe box. This updated model has a molded heel collar for a comfortable\, secure fit and fresh midsole foam that is soft and light. Try out the Torin while you run or walk. All paces are welcome! \n\n\n\nWe meet at the shop at 515 High Street. Runners and walkers can choose to go 3 or 5 miles at a range of speeds (seriously). Anyone and everyone is welcome\, including small persons in strollers and our four legged-friends. We have 2-3 staff members lead the run and one walk leader.
