Join us Thursday\, December 7 for an informational meeting. Find out more about the organization that is inspiring girls in our community to be joyful\, healthy and confident! \nGirls on the Run is an after-school program for girls in grades 3-5. Teams meet twice per week in the spring and the season culminates in a celebratory\, non-competitive 5K event. SUMMARY:Girls on the Run Info Night
DESCRIPTION:Join Girls on the Run Willamette Valley at Run Hub for an informational night. Girls on the Run is a non-profit after-school program for girls in grades 3-8 that combines health education and running. Ten-week sessions are offered every spring and fall. At the end of the program\, girls participate in a 5K. \nLearn more about the organization’s upcoming spring 2020 season\, how to become a coach and how to get involved in other ways. This season\, Girls on the Run will need over 20 committed coaches\, 100 5K buddies\, as well as program sponsors to help them continue to reach the underserved girls in our communities. They also currently have openings on their fundraising/grant writing and marketing committees. \nThere will be raffle prizes\, light snacks and cider from Cyderish provided!
