SUMMARY:Gear Grants Pancake Run 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, March 1\, for the 2025 Gear Grants Pancake Run\, a 5K race and pancake breakfast fundraiser for Run Hub Gear Grants! \n\n\n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\n\nThis timed event will start at 9 AM at the Campbell Community Center\, 155 High St in Eugene. The course will loop through Alton Baker Park before returning to the community center. Eclectic Edge Racing will be timing the event. Then join us inside the community center for a pancake breakfast. \n\n\n\nYou can choose to do just the race\, just the breakfast\, or both! Pancakes will be served until 11 AM. The breakfast ticket includes a meal of pancakes\, sausages (veggie option)\, fruit\, juice and coffee. \n\n\n\nAsics will also be on-site during the race showcasing the METASPEED Sky. \n\n\n\nVolunteer\n\n\n\nPlease sign up here if you’d like to volunteer as a course marshal or help with food preparation and cleanup. \n\n\n\nAbout Gear Grants\n\n\n\nThanks to our sponsors\, all ticket proceeds will go to Run Hub Gear Grants\, which provides $200 grants to middle and high school track & field and cross country athletes in the Eugene area who need help purchasing shoes and other gear for their season. \n\n\n\nSince the program’s inception in fall 2022\, Run Hub has distributed over 175 Gear Grants. For this running scavenger hunt\, you’ll solve a series of limericks to discover where the gold is hidden! \n\n\n\nThe event\, which you can run or walk and which will be up to 5 miles (you can choose to do less)\, will start at the South Eugene High School Track. The run will begin at 2 PM\, but come as early as 1:30 PM to demo products from our sponsors and earn extra raffle tickets for the post-RunVenture raffle!The run will end at The Pint Pot\, where we’ll host our prize raffle and award prizes for best costumes! \n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n1:30 PM: Gather at South Eugene High School track to check out a pair of Adidas running shoes to wear during the RunVenture\, as well as try on Goodr sunglasses and sample PROBAR Bolt chews. You’ll get extra raffle tickets for trying products from our vendors!2 PM: Run begins!
