The run will be on Monday\, March 2 @ 5:30 p.m. and will start and end at Sunriver Brewing in the Oakway Center. You’ll also get a chance to demo Hoka shoes on the 3-mile run. DESCRIPTION:Our She Begins Women’s Self-Defense Night will give you the tools and hands-on training to feel more confident when you’re out on a run or simply going about life. The trainer will cover basic self-defense\, verbal techniques and boundary setting\, while giving you opportunities to practice defensive strikes with pads. The active portion will last about 60-75 minutes followed by socializing and snacks\, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages provided by Run Hub. Registration is $10. Please click this link to register ahead of time. Space is limited. \nBring a friend and join us for a night of self empowerment and the opportunity to connect with other women runners and walkers. We recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothing. \nThis training is open to women of all walks of life\, abilities\, gender identities and expressions\, levels of experience\, and ability\, as well as girls ages 12+ with permission of parent or guardian. \nSHE BEGINS Empowerment-Based Self-Defense and Personal Training envisions a world where women and girls are free to move through their lives without fear of disrespect\, harassment\, or physical violence. SHE BEGINS is dedicated to playing a part in creating that world by offering accessible\, practical\, empowerment-based self-defense and martial arts training to women and teens throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our regularly scheduled community run and our first Wednesday night back on Pre’s Trail. On will be here with demo shoes that you can wear on the run. This run will also be a prediction run! It has been many long winter months since we’ve run on Pre’s Trail for our Wednesday night runs. Can you remember how long it takes you to run the 3- or 5-mile route? No watches or phones allowed\, and the runner who finishes closest to their predicted time will win a prize! The run will begin at 6 p.m. All paces are welcome!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our St. Patrick’s Day RunVenture! This running scavenger hunt through Eugene will be about three miles total. The run will start at 2 PM at Run Hub but come early to earn extra raffle tickets. You’ll run to other local businesses in town before finishing the run at ColdFire Brewing Company\, where we’ll raffle off prizes from our participating businesses. We’ll also award prizes for best costumes! \nSchedule:\n1 PM: Gather at Run Hub and meet with our vendors\, Brooks Running\, UCAN Nutrition and Nathan Sports. You’ll get extra raffle tickets for trying products from our vendors! \nUCAN uses a patented SuperStarch that doesn’t cause a spike and crash in blood sugar and allows the body to burn fat efficiently\, keeping you fueled longer and performing at your best. \n2 PM: Run begins! You’ll get a stamp for each RunVenture location you make it to and the more stamps you have\, the more raffle tickets you’ll get! \n3 PM: End the run at ColdFire Brewing and enjoy beer and a raffle!
