DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the March Mile Madness challenge presented by Run Hub and Hoka!We invite you to run a series of mile segments in Eugene/Springfield on your own between March 5-11. The fastest people to run each segment will advance to the Elite 8 Championship\, for a chance to run a fifth segment in person on March 19.Disclaimer: For Run Hub to track your segment time\, we will be using the Strava segment user board. Your activity will only show up on Strava user boards if your account is public at the time of your run.MORE INFO: \n\n\n\n\nThere are four Strava mile segments in four regions of Eugene/Springfield. You may compete on any or all of the segments! For each segment you run\, post a screenshot of your activity on social media\, tag @runhubnw and @hokaoneone\, and you’ll receive a raffle ticket into our drawing for a free pair of the all new Hoka Rocket X 2. \n\n\n\nOn March 19\, the fastest people (two male and two female) to run each segment will advance to the Elite 8 challenge for a chance to run a fifth segment (to be announced) and compete to win the March Mile Championship. The champions will each win their own pair of Rocket X 2! \n\n\n\n\nThe Segments: \n\n\n\n\nNorth: Begins at the intersection of Willagillespie Road and Cal Young Road and travels east on Cal Young toward Oakway Road. \n\n\n\nSouth: Begins on the Rexius Trail at the intersection of E Amazon Drive and Dillard Road and travels north to Hilyard Street. \n\n\n\nEast: Begins at the Booth-Kelly Trailhead in Springfield and travels east on the Mill Race Path toward South 28th Street. \n\n\n\nWest: Begins on the Fern Ridge Path at the intersection of Greenhill Road and Royal Avenue and travels southeast through the Meadowlark Prairie.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our regularly scheduled community run and demo the brand new Hoka Clifton 9. \n\n\n\nThe run will start at 6 PM at Run Hub\, 515 High Street. Come a little early to check out a pair of demo shoes\, then choose to run 3 or 5 miles on the Willamette River path. \n\n\n\nAll paces and abilities are welcome! Please brings lights and/or reflective gear for safety. \n\n\n\nThe Clifton 9 is now 4 grams lighter and 3 mm higher in cushion! It features a responsive new foam and improved outsole design\, as well as fewer overlays\, a plusher heel and a reflective heel panel.

SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: North Umpqua Trail
DESCRIPTION:For our March Destination Trail Run\, we’ll be going to the beautiful North Umpqua Trail\, where we’ll explore the Jessie Wright segment.This is a beautiful 5.1-mile segment that consists of some waterfalls\, bridges\, and beautiful lush forest. This is an out-and-back trail\, so you can do any distance. If you want to run 13.5 miles total\, you will keep going past the Jessie Wright segment and will run another 1.7 miles into the Deer Leap segment to a cool bridge. If this sounds like a fun time\, read the details below:Sunday\, March 26:9:00 AM: Meet at Run Hub Northwest\, 515 High Street in Eugene11:00 AM: Meet at Twin Lakes parking lot2:00 PM: Meet at Spitz for some much needed recovery food and drink. Address: 2400 NE Diamond Lake Blvd\, Roseburg\, OR 97470Directions to the trailhead: From Roseburg\, head east on Highway 138 for approximately 47 miles. Twin Lakes parking lot will be on your right\, and trailhead is on the left.After the run\, if you want to see Toketee Falls\, you will continue driving on Highway 138. The trail is less then a half mile long down to the falls. Super pretty and highly recommend it!
