DESCRIPTION:The Destination Trail Runs are back again! We will be carpooling to Silver Falls State Park to do a preview run for the upcoming Silver Falls Trail races. The Silver Falls Race Director will be there\, and there will be lots of runners to run with and lots of routes to choose from. \nThe run begins at 9:00 AM so be at Run Hub by 7:30 AM to carpool to the park. After the park enjoy a good bite to eat at Venti’s in Salem with a bunch of other runners. This will be a great group run if you want to meet new runners\, or enjoy a new running route on a beautiful trail! \nEvent Details: \nSaturday\, October 19th:\n7:30 AM: Meet at Run Hub NW to carpool to the park.\n9:00 AM: Arrive at Silver Falls State Park.\n9:00 AM-11:00 AM: Run on some beautiful trails.\n12:00 PM: Eat at Venti’s in downtown Salem.. \nAll levels welcome! \nHere is more info for the Silver Falls Training Run: \nWHAT: Silver Falls Training Run \nWHERE: Silver Falls State Park (South Falls Day Use Area) Park Shelter D \nWHEN: Saturday October 19th 9:00am \nCOST: Vehicle parking is $5 \nINFO: Meet and join other participants at the race start/finish and check out either the 5K\, 7 Mile or Half Marathon courses. SUMMARY:Destination Trail Run: Silver Falls State Park
DESCRIPTION:For October’s destination trail run we’ll head north to Silver Falls State Park. \n\n\n\nWe’ll do the 7.2-mile Trail of Ten Falls\, which is a loop that passes a series of breathtaking waterfalls along a rocky canyon and descends to a winding creek at the forest floor. The trail has an overall elevation change of 800 feet. Dogs are not permitted on the entire trail and are only allowed on portions of the trail. \n\n\n\nWe’ll meet by the bathrooms at the South Falls Day Use Area. Parking is $5 per vehicle. \n\n\n\nIn addition\, our Brooks rep will be there with Caldera 6 demos for those who would like to demo this high cushion trail shoe on their run! \n\n\n\nAfter the run\, we’ll head to Venti’s Café + Taphouse\, 2840 Commercial St SE in Salem. \n\n\n\nSchedule: \n\n\n\n9 AM: Meet at Run Hub to carpool. \n\n\n\n10:30 AM: Meet at Silver Falls\, check out demos\, take a group photo\, and start the run. \n\n\n\n~1 PM: Head to Venti’s for lunch!
