Spring Training Team

Big Timber Running Club organizes seasonal training programs throughout the year. The spring season is focused on training together for the Eugene Half Marathon or Marathon on May 1 and other races along the way. For an additional fee, a club member can get a more personalized week-by-week plan laid out by one of the team coaches. The additional cost of personalized plan is $160 for the 16 week spring season. Training for the 2022 Spring season begins on Tuesday, January 11.

Individualized coaching does not extend beyond the distances the club training for. For the spring session, this means either half marathon or marathon distances.

Spring Season Details:

  • Duration: Early January to end of April
  • Focus: Half marathon and marathon
  • Terrain: Road running/racing
  • Peak Races: Eugene Half Marathon & Marathon
