Destination Trail Run: North Umpqua Trail

For our March Destination Trail Run, we’ll be going to the beautiful North Umpqua Trail, where we’ll explore the Jessie Wright segment.
This is a beautiful 5.1-mile segment that consists of some waterfalls, bridges, and beautiful lush forest. This is an out-and-back trail, so you can do any distance. If you want to run 13.5 miles total, you will keep going past the Jessie Wright segment and will run another 1.7 miles into the Deer Leap segment to a cool bridge.

Sunday, March 26:
9:00 AM: Meet at Run Hub Northwest, 515 High Street in Eugene
11:00 AM: Meet at Twin Lakes parking lot
2:00 PM: Meet at Spitz for some much needed recovery food and drink. Address: 2400 NE Diamond Lake Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97470
Directions to the trailhead: From Roseburg, head east on Highway 138 for approximately 47 miles. Twin Lakes parking lot will be on your right, and trailhead is on the left.
After the run, if you want to see Toketee Falls, you will continue driving on Highway 138. The trail is less then a half mile long down to the falls. Super pretty and highly recommend it!
