The 2025 cross country season is around the corner

The 2025 cross country season is around the corner and at Run Hub we are raising funds for our fall gear grants!🏃🏽‍♂️ When you check out, a staff member will ask if you’d like to make a donation. Donations can also be made online at runhubnw.com/run-hub-gear-grants.

Every $100 donated helps us fulfill a $200 grant to be used on shoes and spikes for a middle or high school athlete who could otherwise not afford them. Since we started Gear Grants in fall 2022, we have given 230+ grants.

For students in need of a grant, the fall Gear Grants application is now open.

Sign-up and join us for the Gear Grants Jackpot Jog on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 11:30am-2pm! This is a fundraiser for our Gear Grants scholarship program.

♠️ ♥️ Participants will demo Brooks shoes while running or walking to local businesses to pick up playing cards, ending at ColdFire Brewing. The top three poker hands win a Run Hub gift card. All participants get access to the poker run and prize raffle, a catered lunch by @yabainikkei and a drink from @coldfire_brewing (beer, wine & NA options).

Run Hub Gear Grants are distributed in the fall and spring to student athletes who need financial assistance to purchase their cross country or track and field gear.

Thanks to our sponsors Brooks, Balega and Skratch, all ticket proceeds will go directly toward fall gear grants.

Do you want to train for your first (or second) 5K? 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️Our fall Beginner 5K Training Program is now open for registration! Starting Saturday, Sept. 6, participants will complete a 12-week training program with a coach and teammates in preparation to run or run/walk the Run to Stay Warm 5K. This is a supportive environment and a great way to chase your goals alongside others.

The cost is $75 for YMCA members and $85 for non-members.

Join Saucony and Run Hub tonight at 6pm for a community run/walk from the shop! Choose from the Endorphin Speed 5, Triumph 23 or Ride 18 to demo on your run or walk.

Afterward, we’ll head to Oakshire Brewing for food and drink. 🍔
