Run with some friends, new and old, at our community run/walk tonight at 6pm at Run Hub! We’ll have 3 and 5-mile routes along the river path and staff run/walk leaders. All paces are welcome.

Physical therapist Rachel Robinson from @cooperativeperformancerehab will be here from 5:30-6pm for free injury consults.

We all had a great time at the destination trail run at Marys Peak.

Our next destination trail run will be at Brice Creek on March 24th. The On Cloudsurfer trail shoe will be there to demo. More details soon!

Road today, trail tomorrow! ⛰️ Come out to our monthly destination trail run Sunday, Feb. 25 at Marys Peak near Philomath. Plus, demo the new Altra Lone Peak 8 while you run!

We’ll meet at Run Hub from 9-9:15am to carpool or Woods Creek Trailhead at 10:45am. Run or hike the North Ridge to Marys Peak for an 8-mile out and back, or add East Ridge for a few more miles.

Afterward, we’ll head to Block 15 Brewery in downtown Corvallis for food and drink. This is a free event. All paces are welcome.

We all had really fun running today at the Destination Trail Run: Larison Creek!

February’s Destination Trail Run will be held on February 25th and we will be traveling to Corvallis to explore the new Corvallis to Sea trail! To sweeten the deal Altra will be there to demo their new Lone Peaks!

We look forward to seeing you there.

Our monthly destination trail run is this Sunday, Jan. 28! Meet at Run Hub at 9-9:15am or Larison Creek Trailhead around 10:15am to run as many miles as you’d like (up to ~12mi) on this out and back trail. There is limited park at the trailhead, so carpooling is recommended. After the run, we’ll head to Oakridge for food and drink!

A big welcome to Big Timber Running Club’s new coach for the spring season, Ben Blankenship!

Ben Blankenship is a U.S. distance runner and founder of the Endless Mileage Project non-profit. He is an Olympian, a 3-time U.S. Champion, and a world record holder. He has since transitioned to longer distances on the trails and roads, currently training for the Rabid Raccoon 100.

Outside of running, Ben enjoys lifting, biking, exploring the outdoors, working on cars, and spending time with his partner and their two dogs.

Ben has coached both teams and individuals, and he is focused on helping all athletes maintain a holistic, well-rounded, and healthy approach to running. He is excited to learn and grow with the members of Big Timber Running Club and will guide the work members are doing to collectively achieve their goals.
