Mobility & Foam Rolling Class

February 5, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

As our training program for the Eugene Half and Full Marathon returns, so does the Mobility & Foam Rolling Class! Join us for our spring foam rolling series taught by Kristen Tucker of MobFit Studio. The class is one hour long and focuses on releasing tight muscles using foam rollers and other mobility tools such as lacrosse balls, tennis balls, stretching straps, and specific stretches designed to target the areas where runners get tight.
Participants will feel results instantly as tension releases in the muscle tissue, but the more they practice this flexibility training they will also begin to recognize the longer term results of how a regular flexibility/mobility training program will speed their daily recovery, decrease the occurrence of and treat old injuries, and significantly increase their performance on the road and trail! Participants will also take away many tools and tricks that they can use daily at home to help them stay safe, strong, and fast on their runs.

The class is open to the community. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Even though the class is designed for runners, ANYONE is welcome! Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family members.

Dates of classes:

February 5, 12 & 26, March 5, 19 & 26 and April 2, 9, 23 & 30

Cost:

Classes are $10 to drop in. For those signed up for the Team Run Hub Training Plan, this is included in your training package. See plan details for further information.
