Virtual Practice Series and 'Go the Distance' Challenge!

Run Hub and Friends are providing live, online classes to the running community during this time. We may not be able to run together, but we can still work together: to stay healthy, and continue to get stronger, fitter and faster. Join our third practice on Wednesday, April 1, from 6-7 p.m. on Facebook Live with physical rehabilitation specialist Kristen Barnes. She will take you through a foam rolling routine that will help you release tight muscles, increase your range of motion and aid your daily recovery. Join us on Facebook Live!

If you missed the last practice, which included a dynamic warm up, activation drills and recovery techniques with Run Hub staffers Mary Beth and Tony, you can still watch the video on Facebook Live.

Running and walking are still safe activities to participate in! We want to keep you moving through this hectic time. Each Wednesday we’re announcing a challenge for you to participate in. You’ll have one week to complete the challenge, post a photo on social media and tag @runhubnw on Instagram and Facebook to be entered to win one of a number of prizes, including Run Hub gift cards, running socks and gift cards to other local businesses.

Your ‘Go the Distance’ challenge this week: Is there that special route you run just because you love the view(s) or the scenic quality? We want to see it! Post a picture of your “scenic route” run. Bonus raffle entry if you snap a selfie in Run Hub gear on your scenic route.  Tag @runhubnw in your post between now and next Tues, April 7 at 11:59 p.m. to be entered to win a number of fun prizes.

Motivation Monday

Each week we post photos of local runners who have recently completed races. If you’d like to be featured, submit a high quality photo of yourself and tell us what race you did, when and where it was and how it went for you (did you PR, did you hit a wall but persevere anyway, did you just have a ton of fun?!) Then look for your photo on our Facebook and Instagram pages!

Weekly Group Runs - All weekly group runs and other events are temporarily cancelled.

Meet us at the shop for weekly community runs on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.  The runs are free and open to all paces.  Wednesdays include 3 and 5.25 mile options led by Run Hub staff.  Saturdays are open runs with distances up to the individual participants.

During the summer we host 5:30 a.m. runs on Wednesdays – these runs are over for 2019 but join us again for morning runs in 2020!
